Gonville & Caius, Finella - Cambridge
This jewel of architecture Finella is a Grade II* Listed Building within a conservation area. This building is referenced in Fletcher's History of Architecture and several other publications. The transformation of "The Yews" into what was later called Finella was instigated by Mansfield Forbes who founded the English Faculty at the University of Cambridge. Finella was designed by Raymond McGrath. The interior follows a poetic representation of Finella's myth and pictish art as a representation of human drama.
Cavaleri Partnership carried out restoration works and published a report on the Past, Present and Future of Finella and its significance.
